Nozawa Bar is a small and intimate sushi-bar experience from Sushi Nozawa.
At Nozawa Bar, our aim is to serve the very best tradition-based omakase sushi meal. Our multi-course menu — primarily nigiri sushi plus sashimi and handrolls — features many of the more adventurous sushi items that dedicated sushi eaters have come to appreciate.
Chef Nozawa and the SUGARFISH team invited Master Chef Osamu Fujita to serve as Executive Chef. Nozawa and Fujita been friends since they worked together 30 years ago.
The menu is created early each morning when Nozawa and Fujita visit the LA fish markets to select the fish for the day. During the meal, each course is served to all guests at once. The cadence and tempo of the meal have been mindfully created to allow each course to be enjoyed to the fullest.

Dining at Nozawa Bar is by reservation only.
We offer dinner seatings ($150 per person) Monday through Wednesday at 7:30 pm. Thursday through Saturday at 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm.
Reservations can be made online (up to 60 days in advance) or by phone ( Mon-Sat 12 – 2 pm), and require a credit card. Please note there is a $100 charge per person for canceling or changing the date/time of your reservation or reducing the size of your party within 48 hours of your reservation (7 days for parties of 7 guests or more). Nozawa Bar serves an omakase, or chef’s choice menu. In order to fulfill our commitment to deliver the very best experience for all of our guests, we ask that our guests please understand and respect our policies.
> We serve each course to all of our guests at the same time. If a guest is late, the chef will not be able to make up the courses that have already been served. Please don’t be late.
> We cannot accommodate any changes to our dishes or provide any substitutions. If a guest prefers not to eat a dish for any reason, including dietary restrictions or personal preference, they can simply ask to be skipped for that course; the price of the meal will not be adjusted. Please note that we regularly serve uni, oysters, octopus, crab, lobster, sweet shrimp and squid, and on many days we serve all of them.
> Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate people who are vegetarian, gluten-free or do not eat rice or vinegar; please do not make a reservation if you have one of these dietary restrictions. Please understand that if you do reserve and inform of us of this when you arrive, we will not be able to serve you and there will be a cancellation fee.
> If you do have a food allergy, please let us know when you arrive at Nozawa Bar.
> An 18% service charge will be added to each bill, which, under California state law, is subject to sales tax. Tips are neither expected nor encouraged.
> Corkage of outside wine or sake is not allowed.
> Nozawa Bar can accommodate only guests who have confirmed reservations; no infants are permitted.
